The 805 series is an indexable deep hole drill with centre, intermediate and peripheral inserts and guide pads, made to order for your machining conditions. It drills Ø25.00–65.00 mm to depths of up to 20×D with IT10 tolerance and comes in standard and cross-hole types (805.20 · 805.40).

HOW TO USE
Operating guide.Start with a pilot hole.
Make the pilot hole first, then enter slowly.

Pilot hole drilling
Make the pilot hole to H8 tolerance and deep enough for the guide pads to enter.
- 02
Entry
When the 805 drill reaches the pilot hole, feed it in while rotating slowly and switch on the coolant.
- 03
Drilling
Start drilling with the set cutting conditions.

As the tables show, it uses the same LPMT · LPET inserts and LNXT pads as the BTA 800 series (DHD).
