ILJIN TOOL TECH (the "Company") has established and publishes this privacy policy under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly.
1. Why we process personal information
The Company processes personal information to receive and answer the quote and technical enquiries made on this website and the enquiries sent through the ILCO chat in our Online Expo. It is not used for any other purpose; if the purpose changes, we will ask for your consent again.

- The ILCO chat in the Online Expo takes your company name, contact name, email, phone number (optional) and message; it does not take attachments.
- Please do not include any other personal information in your message or attachments.
- This website does not use cookies. Your choice of language is stored only in your browser and is not sent to the Company.
3. How long we keep it
We keep it for 1 year from the day the enquiry is received and then destroy it without delay. Where another law requires us to keep it, we keep it for that period.
4. How we destroy it
Personal information whose retention period has ended is destroyed within 5 days of the end of that period, as follows.
- Enquiry records (Google Sheets) and attachments (Google Drive): the enquiry form service checks every day and automatically deletes those whose retention period has ended. Attachments are deleted permanently, without going through the trash.
- Enquiry notification emails: each enquiry, with its attachment, is also delivered to the Company's mailbox (Hiworks) as a notification email. These emails are not deleted automatically, so the staff member in charge deletes them, trash included, from the Company's mailbox and from the sent mail of the Google account that sends them.
5. Disclosure to third parties
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties, except where a law specifically provides otherwise.
6. Processors and transfer abroad
We use the services of the following companies to receive and store enquiries, to handle the related emails and to run this website and the Online Expo.

7. Your rights and how to use them
You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it. Ask by phone, email or fax and we will act without delay. You may also ask through a representative.
8. How we keep it secure
- Access to enquiry records and attachments is limited to the account of the staff member in charge.
- The website and enquiry submissions are encrypted (HTTPS).
- The number of enquiries accepted is limited to reduce spam.
